Spragin partnership with

Sprag voice agents, now calling through Vobiz

Sprag powers the voice agent. Vobiz connects it to the phone network. Bring them together in Pipecat or LiveKit.

Three steps to a working call

  1. 1

    Get a Sprag API key

Sprag runs the speech side of the agent: it hears the caller and speaks the reply.

  2. 2

    Get a Vobiz number

Vobiz gives the agent a phone number and carries the call to and from the phone network.

  3. 3

    Connect them in your framework

Your Pipecat or LiveKit agent takes the call from Vobiz and sends the audio to Sprag.

Who does what

Sprag: the voice agent

  • Native speech-to-speech with Symphony, or the full pipeline: Rhythm (speech-to-text) → LLM → Chorus (text-to-speech)
  • Use a Sprag-served LLM or bring your own
  • 65 preset voices and 10 output languages
  • One OpenAI-compatible API, in Sprag's cloud or self-hosted

Vobiz: the phone line

  • Telephony infrastructure built for AI voice agents
  • Phone numbers in 130+ countries, outbound calling to 190
  • SIP trunking (how LiveKit connects) and real-time audio streaming (how Pipecat connects)
  • Sub-80ms one-way telephony latency (per Vobiz)
  • Call recording, transfers to a human, and 43-field call detail records (a log entry for each call)

How it fits together

Sprag's reply travels back the same way to the caller.

Your framework runs the agent. Vobiz carries the call. Sprag does the listening and talking.
